The Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, under general direction, plans and implements a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the Texas A&M University System, including Texas A&M-RELLIS. This role promotes the advancement of the System by enhancing name recognition and public perception through strategic marketing channels and both internal and external communications. The Executive Director collaborates with officials across the System to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and alignment with strategic goals.
In essence, the Executive Director works closely with marketing professionals from universities and agencies throughout the System to identify potential companies and government entities interested in collaborating with scientists and professionals from The Texas A&M University System. Much of the job will involve Texas A&M-RELLIS, which is an ever-growing applied research campus in nearby Bryan, Texas with tremendous potential. The 3,000+ acre site already is home to several System entities and initiatives, but there is still a lot of room for growth. Additionally, the Executive Director will have the opportunity to work with professionals at the System's 12 regional campuses to develop new marketing projects.
