The Senior Web And Information Designer shapes and maintains the digital presence of The Texas A&M University System through accessible, visually cohesive, and user-friendly design. This position blends creative design work with data-driven decision-making, ensuring all web platforms provide a seamless user experience while aligning with institutional goals and identity standards. The role involves evaluating performance metrics, optimizing digital content placement, applying inclusive design principles to expand usability and reach, and establishing procedures for authoring web content to provide customer support for content custodians.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years professional experience and/or web site development and web marketing experience.
Ability to create visually engaging digital layouts that align with brand identity.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and engagement.
Proficiency in web content optimization, including SEO techniques and accessibility compliance.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, SharePoint) and associated scripting languages (JavaScript, PHP).
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics for monitoring performance and guiding design decisions.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Advanced coursework or degree in digital media, communications, or related field.
Seven years professional experience and/or web site development and web marketing experience.
Proficient knowledge of online analytical tools and ability to perform data mining and analysis.
Ability to analyze statistical data and put it into presentation format.
Ability to interpret data trends and translate them into actionable design improvements.
Working knowledge of email campaign platforms, online media integration, and UI/UX prototyping tools.
Experience developing digital standards and style guidelines.
