Cadworx Piping Designer
We are seeking a Cadworx Piping Designer for a hybrid assignment. The selected candidate will be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing advanced facilities such as semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers, and similar state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Candidates can work a hybrid schedule anywhere in the Continental US, Alaska and Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Develop piping designs
- Lead portions of project scope
- Coordinate directly with engineers and other disciplines
- Provide technical input on operability, model quality, and design standards
- Support workshare execution
- Contribute to estimating and change-management discussions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years experience in the layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design
- 3+ years experience with Cadworx
- An understanding of piping specifications, materials, equipment interfaces and layout fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, vendor drawings and engineering documentation
