Director Of Trade Marketing

LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing beauty brand in NYC in their search for a Director Of Trade Marketing. In this role, you will lead trade marketing strategy and the greater team. This role will translate global brand and innovation strategies into impactful retail programs across channels, driving growth, awareness, and customer engagement. You'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and retail partners to deliver best-in-class promotions, events, merchandising, and channel activations. This role is hybrid in NYC, 2-3 days a week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute trade marketing calendars aligned with brand priorities and sales goals.
  • Adapt marketing programs for retailers with 360° activations (in-store, digital, social, events, promotions).
  • Oversee visual merchandising, loyalty programs, gift-with-purchase, sampling, seasonal kits, and account-specific activations.
  • Track sales data, category trends, competitor activity, and ROI to optimize trade programs and forecast demand.
  • Partner with Sales, Brand, and Global teams to ensure consistent execution across channels and share insights to influence strategy.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, aligning resources with business priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA a plus).
  • 6+ years in trade, brand, or channel marketing — ideally in beauty or haircare or related field.
  • Proven success driving trade marketing strategies that grow sales and brand equity.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and measuring ROI.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in 360° retail marketing campaigns across eCommerce, distributors, and brick-and-mortar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, PIM, or retail platforms a plus.
