Reporting to the Director of Product Management, who owns portfolio strategy and prioritization, this role is responsible for delivering against that strategy through disciplined, predictable execution across the team.
What You'll Do

- Translate portfolio strategy into clear execution plans, milestones, and cross-functional deliverables
- Oversee product lifecycle execution, including new product introductions (NPI), design transfer, sustaining changes, and end-of-life activities
- Ensure execution complies with applicable quality systems, regulatory requirements, and internal processes
- Proactively identify and resolve execution risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies
- Drive operational rigor through standardized processes, governance, and tools to improve delivery predictability
- Partner closely onsite with R&D, QARA, Operations, and other stakeholders to enable rapid issue resolution and effective decision-making
- Track success through execution metrics and business outcomes, including on-time product launches, reduced delays, and improved portfolio predictability
- Manage team capacity and performance to consistently meet delivery commitments
- Lead and develop team members, including Associate Product Managers responsible for lower-complexity and mature products, ensuring execution within established portfolio strategy and decision-making guardrails
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or related roles within a regulated industry (medical device, diagnostics, life sciences, or similar)
- 4+ years of people management experience, with a track record of leading teams, developing talent, and operating independently
- Strong experience in execution-focused roles, with demonstrated ownership of delivery, cross-functional coordination, and operational rigor
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management in a regulated environment (e.g., NPI, design controls, change management)
- Proven ability to translate strategy into execution across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations partners
Nice to Have
- Experience leading product operations or execution-focused teams
- Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, or similar regulatory frameworks
