Packaging Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Packaging Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and design of packaging components and solutions, as well as tools and equipment used in production. This role involves meeting the requirements of clients from within and outside of the organization, providing consultation, and ensuring all packaging-related activities are performed in accordance with cGMP regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development and design: create innovative packaging components and solutions, including tools and equipment used in production.
  • Client consultation: meet the requirements of clients from within and outside of the organization, providing expert consultation on packaging solutions.
  • Concept visualization: develop multidimensional packaging concept visualizations, prototyping, and specifications of packaging materials in the system.
  • Construction drawings: produce detailed construction drawings for the internal tool shop and external manufacturers of packaging components.
  • Interface activity: proactively collaborate with internal customers from various departments, including customer service, tool shop & engineering, primary and secondary packaging, production, procurement, QA/QC, and distribution.
  • Coordination: coordinate and perform packaging development activities between suppliers and ThermoFisher.
  • Regulatory compliance: ensure all packaging-related activities are performed in accordance with cGMP regulations.
  • Presentation: present packaging solutions and concepts to internal and external customers.
  • Information management: collect, handle, and coordinate all necessary information according to project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in packaging development and design.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
