Associate Manager, Trade Marketing (Wine)

The Associate Manager, Trade Marketing is instrumental in executing consumer marketing strategies across the retail and on-premise channels for JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, Landmark Vineyards, and Lewis Cellars. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing, this role will collaborate closely with both brand and sales teams to develop and implement annual trade marketing initiatives. Key areas of focus include point-of-sale materials, shopper marketing, coupon programs, trade shows, tasting events, and e-commerce campaigns.

This position is based at our Los Angeles headquarters and requires up to 15% travel to support customer meetings, trade events, and visits to our winery and tasting room properties. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Trade Marketing & Channel Strategy

  • Collaborate on annual trade marketing plans for both retail and on-premise channels by translating overall brand objectives into actionable channel strategies.
  • Identify key priorities and develop specific, measurable tactics that align with sales goals and support broader brand initiatives.

Point-of-Sale & Branded Materials

  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of a full suite of compelling point-of-sale (POS) materials and branded merchandise designed to drive consumer engagement and conversion.
  • Lead account-specific adaptations of creative campaign materials—such as POS items, print ads, and out-of-home assets—ensuring brand alignment and visual consistency across executions.

Shopper Marketing & Promotions

  • Assist in the development of shopper marketing initiatives and coupon programming to drive purchase intent and incremental sales at the point of decision.

Visual Storytelling & Sales Enablement

  • Partner with the brand team to design visually engaging storytelling templates and sales tools for use in trade presentations, account meetings, and key customer communications.

E-Commerce Marketing

  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to create marketing content and promotional strategies tailored for key digital retail partners, including Instacart, DoorDash, Minibar, ReserveBar, Wine.com, and others.
  • Support the development and execution of digital marketing assets for retail and on-premise campaigns, optimizing content for retail media platforms.

Creative Execution & Brand Consistency

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to design, adapt, and produce high-quality digital and print assets.
  • Ensure all creative output maintains consistency with brand guidelines across all consumer touchpoints and customer-facing materials.

BA in marketing or related field preferred. 2-3 years of experience in CPG environment, within trade or shopper marketing preferred. Bev. alc. experience strongly preferred. Basic understanding of the retail and on-premise marketing landscape, both in-store and online required. Proficiency using design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and MS PowerPoint. Strong Eye for detail, style, and visual merchandising, with a business oriented approach to creative development. Excellent communication skills and cross-functional project management.

Pay Range: $85,000-$100,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
