We're looking for a tech-savvy Product Manager to join Thoropass as we look to expand our Product team and create a best-in-class tool for security compliance management.

At its core, this job is about owning and managing product development from start to finish. You will be responsible for gathering requirements from sources, both internal and external, conducting competitive analysis, conceptualizing new features and enhancements, ruthlessly prioritizing features, communicating product specifications to engineers, managing day-to-day delivery, and tracking the success metrics of launched features over time.
Essential day-to-day activities include:
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, minimum in product management or a comparable discipline. Strong project management skills, including the ability to think and lead complex projects simultaneously. Experience in complete software development life cycle duties, including requirements gathering, design, estimation, prototyping, implementation, and quality assurance. Experience with Agile development and methodologies. Have shipped digital products before. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and ProductBoard. Expertise with Heap, Segment, or similar Product Analytics tools. Software engineering background or experience working closely with software engineering teams. Collaborative to a fault, with a team-first attitude. Passion for technology and building a best-in-class digital experience. Firm grasp of technology architecture and the ability to understand complex product functionality, design, and technical issues in order to estimate feature development efforts and drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions. Ability to empathize with the customer and prioritize high-impact features on their behalf. Organized, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner. Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator. Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 and will be based on experience and skill set. Immediate access to health, dental, and vision care. Early equity in a fast-growing company.
