Shape the Future of 3D Design: Product Manager for SketchUp for iOS!

Ready to transform spatial design for architects and builders? Maybe you can make an 'App of the Year' while you're at it! As a product manager for SketchUp for iPad and iPhone, you will work to establish our iOS apps as strong mobile complements to our desktop platform and as standalone mobile design experiences. This role is a unique opportunity to solve interesting problems and develop products that impact a global community of design professionals.

In this role, you will be the primary architect of the SketchUp mobile strategy, directly influencing how millions of designers transition from the office to the field. You aren't just managing an app; you are defining the next frontier of 3D design by making professional-grade tools accessible on iOS, ensuring SketchUp remains the most intuitive modeling platform in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect the Roadmap: Define and evolve the product strategy for SketchUp on iOS, ensuring it serves as both a powerful standalone 3D experience and a perfect complement to our desktop ecosystem.
  • Collaborate and Create: Participate in the agile development process, partnering with UX designers and engineers to translate strategy into executable plans, guiding innovative capabilities to life from concept to release.
  • Champion the User: Cultivate relationships with our customers to gather insights, understand pain points, and advocate for their needs throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Own the App Presence: Oversee SketchUp in the Apple ecosystem, managing App Store updates, optimize performance, and cultivating educational offerings. Drive Product-Led Growth: Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to define success metrics, experiment, measure impact, and guide decisions that improve customer satisfaction and business performance.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3D Software Fluency: Proficiency in SketchUp and LayOut, with a genuine curiosity for how professional design practitioners utilize 3D tools.
  • Strategic Execution: Proven experience inventorying "jobs-to-be-done," writing user stories, and breaking down complex features into incremental, executable pieces.
  • Analytical Insight: Ability to extract actionable insights from customer research to develop hypotheses that increase software value.
  • Technical Communication: Talent for illustrating or prototyping UX architecture concepts and explaining technical details in a clear manner for all stakeholders.

After uploading your resume, please submit a cover letter explaining your interest in this specific role. We also welcome examples of past work demonstrating your experience in product management or your use of SketchUp.
