Job Description

AMCL, a T&T company and global leaders in Asset Management, is looking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in London. This is an exciting role in a world leading Asset Management Consultancy, this post would suit a recent graduate, or someone looking to build upon their real-world production skills from a basic level in the field of graphic design.

Based within commutable distance of London, you will be working primarily with the local team, but also on projects originating across the globe. This varied and diverse role will allow you to be involved in various design tasks, from concept development to finished deliverables in a variety of media.

This post would suit a recent graduate, freelancer or someone looking to build upon their real-world production skills from a basic level in the field of graphic design.

As a London-based team member, you will be working primarily with the UK&I team, but will have the opportunity to support projects across the globe. This flexible and diverse role will allow you to be involved in a wide range of design tasks, from concept development to finished deliverables across a variety of media.

Typical responsibilities include:

You will be a self-motivated team player, extremely organised with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, maintaining consistency and quality, regardless of project size.

Willing to work on a range of projects from standalone diagrams and illustrations to comprehensive documents and presentation decks. You will also be required to assist on longer-term projects such as eLearning development and delivering the marketing plan by way of managing website news stories and LinkedIn posts.

Previous professional design experience is preferred, but more importantly, we're interested in someone with the right attitude and initiative. You will require a sound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, as well as experience in MS Office applications. Although some of the work may be prescriptive initially, we're keen for someone to feel that they could put forward ideas of how to increase productivity, streamline workflow and strengthen the global brand identity.

About you:

This role would suit a current freelancer; someone who manages their own client workload and takes pride in everything they do.

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • A good understanding of typography and layout
  • Demonstrated skills at working collaboratively with others to achieve desired results
  • Proven ability to work creatively within brand guidelines
  • The ability to read and interpret a brief, understand how to bring to life key messages
  • Experience setting up templates in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
  • Pride in your work, with a keen eye for detail in every output
  • Able to take on and process feedback to improve upon
  • Web design/management experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
