Description of the Position
Integrated into the production team of an ambitious AAA project unannounced, and under the supervision of a Producer, you are responsible for the vision, quality and execution of the entire voice perimeter of the project. You play a key role in the narrative experience and immersion of players, while ensuring the excellence of vocal performances and voice pipelines on a project scale.
In this role, your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead, mentor and support the Voice Designers team, promote the sharing of best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's methods, tools and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Sound Design team to carry the audio vision of the project, in coherence with the narrative direction, game design and audio direction.
- Ensure fluid and proactive communication between the Voice team and the other project teams (gameplay, missions, world, cutscenes), to build integrated and coherent player experiences.
- In collaboration with the Associate Producer Audio, supervise the entire voice production cycle in respect of budgetary constraints: preparation and follow-up of recordings, audio treatments, integration in game and quality validation.
- Establish benchmarks of quality, coherence and best practices for voice production and implementation, in connection with global standards.
- Anticipate scalability, performance and efficiency issues of dialogue systems, and propose solutions adapted to the technical and production constraints of the project.
- In collaboration with the Technical Director Audio, pilot and evolve the voice pipelines, tools and workflows, while pragmatically exploring innovative solutions and emerging technologies when relevant for the project.
Qualifications
- You have demonstrated your expertise as a Lead Voice or Lead Audio, ideally on one or more AAA projects;
- You master the voice production pipelines for video games, including dialogue systems and integration in engine;
- You have proven experience in management, including individual support, regular feedback and skills development;
- You are recognized for your ability to mentor, rally and grow a team around common objectives;
- You demonstrate a marked interest in innovation, voice technologies and continuous improvement of processes;
- You are comfortable working in French and English, both written and spoken.
