Description of the Position

Pioneering studio of Ubisoft, the Paris studio is at the origin of the first successes of the publisher since its creation in 1992. It is now at the head of iconic licenses such as Just Dance, Ghost Recon or Mario + The Lapins Crétins. Ubisoft Paris has also built a solid reputation as a preferred partner in inter-studio collaborations like Watch Dogs, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2 or even Star Wars. With this experience, the studio continues to go further in terms of creativity by working on very promising projects not yet announced.

Within the Just Dance brand, you will join a team of experienced Level Designers; thus attached to the Associate Lead Level Designer, your missions will be as follows:

• Participate in the creation of choreographies in collaboration with choreographers and dancers,
• Make the choreographies playable in the game by adjusting them for players and gamers,
• Take charge of various cross-functional missions related to the different game modes,
• Organize testing sessions of the current works,
• Ensure the Level Design part of the choreographies.

Qualifications

• You have significant first experience in Game and/or Level Design,
• You are dynamic, you are comfortable with dance in general,
• You like games of the type "Party Game" and especially dance games,
• You have a good vision of the world of the video game industry,
• You have a good team spirit and very good communication,
• You have a good level of English and are able to communicate effectively with non-French speakers.

Knowledge of certain game engines, or notions in programming (type C#, C, Python) is a plus.
