UI/UX Designer Assistant – Alternance (12 mois) Septembre 2026 (F/H/NB)

Ubisoft is a global leader in video gaming, with teams spread across the world creating original and memorable gaming experiences from Assassin's Creed to Rainbow Six and Just Dance and more. We believe that diversity of viewpoints advances both players and teams. If you are passionate about innovation and want to push the boundaries of entertainment, join our adventure and help us create the unknown!

Within Ubisoft's headquarters in Saint-Mandé, you will join the Product Design team in the Online Services department for 1 year.

You will contribute to the design of digital experiences at the heart of the Ubisoft ecosystem (website and Ubisoft Connect platform), used by millions of players around the world. These platforms cover a variety of uses: discovering game-related content, managing accounts, interacting with games, as well as purchasing games and subscribing to our subscription service, Ubisoft+.

You will accompany the team in the design of useful, intuitive, and efficient features to improve the daily lives of our players within our services and platforms.

You will work in a complex and stimulating product environment with high user experience stakes, within international teams. You will collaborate closely with UX Research, CX, Product, Marketing, and Dev teams to design or improve existing experiences.

You will be supported to develop your skills on large-scale product design issues (discovery, data, design system, collaboration with Dev teams).

Your missions will be as follows:

Discovery Phase:

  • Participate in the analysis of user data (user tests, surveys, ab tests, tracking) to understand their needs, behaviors, and preferences to turn them into business opportunities.
  • Conduct benchmarks and competitive design and tech, as well as gaming market research, to identify best practices and usage evolutions.

Delivery Phase:

  • Participate in the definition of user journeys based on different personas across all our platforms.
  • Design mockups and prototypes for our web and mobile environments based on our Design System, while contributing to the consistency of experiences across different platforms.
  • Produce clear, structured, and usable design documentation for development teams.
  • Contribute to design QA before production.

Qualifications:

  • You are a student in higher education following a digital design course on user experience, user research, product design (UX UI) or equivalent.
  • You have a good design culture and are attentive to the latest trends.
  • You demonstrate autonomy, adaptability, and a keen sense of organization.
  • You enjoy working in teams, on different projects in parallel, and managing your priorities.
  • You are comfortable with Figma and know the principles of atomic design and design system.
  • You are familiar with image editing, design, and white boarding software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Miro...).
  • You speak fluent English and can communicate in this language both written and orally. Our team being international (France, Canada, Germany, Sweden…), we speak English every day!
  • You love video games and being familiar with the gaming industry is a plus.

Ubisoft Question Box

How to prepare my application at Ubisoft?

First, read the job description carefully to highlight your experiences and skills that seem relevant to this opportunity! A personalized and detailed CV will surely help you stand out.

Motivation letter or not? We always prefer a few lines explaining your motivation to apply, rather than a generic text copied and pasted! An enclosure is specifically provided for this purpose during your application.

I do not know the video game sector. Do I have a place at Ubisoft?

We have many profiles in our ranks who are not video game enthusiasts. At Ubisoft, we seek to surround ourselves with passionate people, whether by their specialties, professions, or entertainment in general.

What should I expect during an internship or apprenticeship at Ubisoft?

From your first days, you will benefit from a Welcome Session presenting Ubisoft, its organization, and your work environment for the next few months. Your tutor and team will accompany you daily, in the first weeks as well as throughout your experience!

Once you are autonomous, your missions will be responsible and varied, no matter the type of contract. Working at Ubisoft means working on real projects to be carried out day by day.

A dedicated Teams group will also allow you to exchange with other interns and apprentices.

What are Ubisoft's societal commitments?

We seek to enrich the lives of players by creating original and memorable gaming experiences, and by always striving to improve the positive impact of our games. To achieve this, we create a safer and more inclusive work environment, support the communities in which Ubisoft operates through charitable initiatives, and strive to reduce the environmental impact of our activities. For more information, visit the Social Impact page.

I am in a situation of disability, how to apply?

All our recruitment teams have been sensitized to disability issues. You can therefore apply normally via our SmartRecruiters platform by attaching your CV and cover letter.
