Senior Project Designer - Power Plants
Join our Global Expertise Center Power Plants and help drive the success of complex, large-scale energy projects around the world. As a Senior Project Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping tailored formwork solutions for power plant construction—bringing technical expertise, creativity, and customer focus to every phase of the project lifecycle.
What you'll do:
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to our global customers, identifying needs and delivering smart, customized solutions.
- Lead the technical design process from tendering to project execution, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop innovative formwork concepts for international power plant projects, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert guidance on equipment usage, jobsite support, and technical troubleshooting.
- Visit project sites as needed to ensure alignment and excellence in execution.
Your future path:
- Business Development – Engage in acquisition of large-scale projects, commercial strategy, and risk management.
- Knowledge Management – Contribute to building and transferring expertise across our global organization.
What you bring:
- A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (HTL, FH, or University level).
- 3–5 years of experience in formwork or steel structure design, ideally in large infrastructure projects.
- Strong 3D CAD skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international team.
- High technical acumen and a customer-centric approach.
- A hands-on attitude with a focus on solutions and results.
- Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus).
- Willingness to travel and support projects abroad after onboarding.

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 36,725.78 according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry) on full-time basis 38.5 hours/week - use group as of III.
