About the position, Statens Naturhistoriske Museum is facing the opening of a new museum building in Botanisk Have – the largest museum project in recent Danish history. In this context, visual identity, design, and branding play a central role in meeting the museum's many target groups. You will be part of the museum's communication team, where we work with communication, marketing, web, design, and branding. The team is characterized by collaboration, flexibility, and a shared ambition to strengthen the knowledge of the museum and its activities. As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for both creative development and execution of the museum's visual expression. An important part of the job is to ensure a cohesive and recognizable design throughout the entire user journey and across platforms – tailored to target groups, messages, and channels. The museum's vision is to strengthen the connection between people and nature. You therefore have an interest in nature and natural science and are motivated to translate knowledge and communication into strong visual stories for a broad public.

Salary and employment terms are anchored in the museum's communication team, and you report to the deputy museum director for communication. Employment is according to the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and the Public Employees' Organizations - The State Area (OAO-S) and the organizational agreement for Graphic Workers at a number of Institutions (HK/stat). Employment is as a graphic designer. There will be an opportunity to negotiate additional allowances based on qualifications. The average weekly working hours are typically 37. We offer flexible working hours.
