The Faculty of Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku invites applications for a fixed term Postdoctoral Researcher position from 1.1.2026 to 31.12.2028.
The postdoctoral researcher position is in the subject of Marketing.
The Department of Marketing and International Business offers a multidisciplinary and international work environment, characterized by ambitious research, high-quality teaching, and a good work atmosphere. The objective of research conducted by the Marketing faculty is to benefit business and advance a sustainable society by solving key marketing-related challenges in the rapidly changing and complex business environment. Research in the Marketing subject focuses on four core themes: 1) B2B marketing, market shaping and networks, 2) Customer experience management, 3) Consumption and marketing logics, and 4) Research methods and conceptual tools. Research in the Marketing subject is internationally renowned, especially in the areas of B2B marketing and service research. The unit's teaching spans the broad spectrum of the marketing discipline. The unit's faculty members are actively engaged in externally funded research projects, executive teaching, and societal outreach activities.
The duties of the postdoctoral researcher include conducting independent research in the field of marketing. In addition, the position involves teaching and supervising undergraduate students in the subject. The postdoctoral researcher will also participate in applying for research funding in collaboration with other researchers and carry out tasks related to university administration.
The postdoctoral researcher position is intended to promote the qualification and career development of recently graduated doctors. Applicants are required to hold a relevant doctoral degree, which must have been completed within the past five years of the application deadline. The doctoral degree must be completed by the end of the application period.

Requirements
The qualification requirements for the position is stated in the University of Turku Rules of Procedure (35ยง). A person selected for the post of postdoctoral researcher is required to have a doctoral degree suitable for the position and the ability to conduct independent scientific work as well as having the necessary teaching skills.

The salary is determined in accordance with the university salary system for teaching and research personnel. The salary for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the beginning of employment is approximately 3600 โ 4300 EUR per month depending on previous experience and competence.
The position has a trial period of six (6) months.
