Temporary Design Coordinator

We are seeking a Temporary Design Coordinator with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset to support the Print Development team through day-to-day administrative coordination and development support, while gaining hands-on exposure to the behind-the-scenes processes of fashion product development.

Role Responsibilities

Skills

Partnerships

  • Print Team: Support the Print team throughout the development process, assisting with the execution of color and print intentions.
  • Cross-Functional Partners: Serve as a positive point of contact for cross-functional partners, representing Print team objectives and priorities.

Administrative

  • Calendar: Maintain an understanding of the department calendar, including key meetings and deadlines.
  • Email: Manage day-to-day email correspondence, monitoring and responding to partner emails and sharing questions, comments, and updates in a timely manner.
  • Meetings: Assist with team meetings, including preparation, note-taking, and follow-up.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate the shipping and receiving of submits and standards.
  • File Systems: Maintain digital and physical file systems to ensure information is accessible to partners as needed.
  • Print Packages: Support print package preparation by assisting the development team in organizing and sending print packages to vendors.
  • Strike-Offs: Support strike-off reviews by gathering questions and comments and sharing feedback with vendors and Print partners.

Role Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in fine art, fashion design, or related experience required.
  • Industry Interest: Interest in mill communication and development-related problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Excel and Google platforms.
  • Color Systems: Understanding of Pantone usage across creative and technical platforms.
