As a 55ip - Senior Product Manager - Vice President working on the 55ip Product Management team you will lead the product strategy and delivery for our Quantitative Investment Sciences and artificial intelligence and machine learning delivery initiatives. You will bridge the gap between investment science rigor, quantitative research, and artificial intelligence and machine learning innovation- ensuring that our trading quality pipelines deliver accurate, high-quality portfolio outcomes while also ensuring the product is at the bleeding edge of innovation.
You will have a deep understanding of investment management workflows, portfolio optimization, and risk management, combined with strong product management skills to translate complex quantitative capabilities into scalable, client-ready solutions.
You will work with cross-functional teams responsible for research, analytics, platform delivery, and tooling, collaborating closely with portfolio managers, quant researchers, artificial intelligence and machine learning engineers, product managers, and compliance stakeholders. You will have strong expertise in investment principles and outcomes and AI/ML methods along with strong product leadership.
Job responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define the product vision for Quant Investment Sciences and investment quality systems.
Define the research and AI/ML strategy for tax-smart optimization, risk modeling, and UMA product innovation.
Quant Investment Sciences
Partner with portfolio researchers to analyze and report optimization performance along with recommending product definition.
Collaborate with JPM partners, consulting, sales and marketing partners to create investment collateral and investment dashboards for periodic reviews.
AI/ML Platform & Delivery Leadership
Define the AI/ML roadmap, including model training and deployment pipelines. Collaborate with different user personas to build a backlog of potential use cases.
Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines meet model training and compliance needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the primary product liaison between Quant Investment Sciences, Research, Development and Platform teams.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field; CFA or FRM designation preferred
7+ years in product management, quantitative research, or portfolio analytics within asset/wealth management or FinTech
Experience building products with quantitative research, engineering, and trading teams; proficiency in Python or data analytics tools a plus
Excellent communication skills to explain complex quantitative concepts to non-quant stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field is preferred
CFA or FRM designation preferred
