Marketing Analytics Analyst

CNN is seeking a Marketing Analytics Analyst to join our Growth Analytics team. This role will support our go-to-market efforts by conducting in-depth campaign analysis, developing reporting, and sharing insights about what is and isn't working in marketing with business leads. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their analytics skillset in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As a Analyst, Marketing Analytics, you will:

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance across channels to identify what is and isn't working in our growth marketing initiatives.
  • Support reporting and dashboarding efforts to track key marketing KPIs.
  • Assist in evaluating marketing effectiveness by evaluating campaigns in terms of ROI, CPA, and other efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other analysts to understand campaign goals and translate them into measurable outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our data stack by simplifying processes like the complex conditional logic that goes into identifying marketing channels.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools and platforms.
  • Present findings in a clear, actionable format to stakeholders across Marketing, Growth, and Strategy teams.

The Essentials

  • 1+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in marketing, digital media, e-commerce, or streaming.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts such as ROI, ROAS, LTV, and attribution.
  • Strong attention to detail and a logical mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Pay Range: $91,140.00 - $169,260.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
