Customer Service And Marketing Associate

Salary: $20/hr - $25/hr Schedule: Mon & Fri: 8a-3:30p; Tues - Thurs: 8a-2:30p

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and solution-oriented individual to help grow their local car wash and related services. This unique role blends front-line customer service with digital marketing and content creation. The ideal candidate isn't afraid to pick up the phone, connect with people, and proactively solve problems, while also contributing to marketing campaigns that attract and engage customers. Because this position will often work independently, you must be a self-starter who takes initiative to get the job done without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, professional support to customers in person, by phone, and online (memberships, billing, service questions).
  • Proactively reach out to customers when needed - not just respond.
  • Handle customer concerns with patience and a focus on resolving the issue efficiently.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate customer accounts.
  • Create and manage digital marketing content - social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Use tools like Canva, MailChimp, Photoshop (or similar) and basic photo/video editing to design engaging content.
  • Collaborate on special promotions and loyalty campaigns to attract new customers.
  • Assist with website updates (posting promotions, updating content, or coordinating with web vendors).
  • Support office tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and inventory tracking.
  • Often work independently, staying organized and on top of tasks without direct oversight.

Requirements:

  • Proven marketing experience (social media, email campaigns, or digital promotions).
  • Familiarity with design and marketing software (Canva, MailChimp, Photoshop, or similar).
  • Comfortable calling customers and engaging directly - not just behind a screen.
  • Prior customer service or office support experience required.
  • Proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable multitasking and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including some evenings or weekends.
