Job Summary

As a Data Analyst - Product Support, you will collect and analyze structured and unstructured data, develop metrics, and create reports and visualizations to identify trends and patterns related to product health. You will collaborate with Engineering and Program Management to understand data needs, generate dashboards, perform administration functions and present compelling data stories for both production and in-field products.

Essential Responsibilities

Data Collection:

Manage complex datasets from varied sources and create reports for analysis using system reporting and data plotting tools.

Establish data metrics and reporting methods.

Enhance efficiency and accessibility in data acquisition from varied sources.

Develop processes and database-driven tools for sustaining projects.

Data Analysis:

Identify and analyze trends or patterns in product health for production and field installations.

Uncover insights and provide impactful recommendations on product performance.

Perform detailed analyses and statistical tests independently, draw conclusions, and determine relevant metrics from available tools.

Reporting:

Utilize databases, data collection systems, and data analytics to present trends on complex product performance issues.

Coordinate with internal and external customers to understand needs and deliver visual data presentations, graphs, infographics, and reports.

Tools/Process Improvement:

Work in teams to establish specifications and instructions for reports and analyses based on business needs.

Develop and maintain tools, templates, and dashboards to improve data processes efficiency.

Provide inputs on process improvements to team members.

Participate as a member of internal teams to enhance data collection and product performance analysis processes.

Miscellaneous:

Support cross-functional teams in data gathering or reporting conclusions/recommendations from analytics.

Perform research and investigative projects or tool development.

Perform administrative functions, including configuration management tasks and departmental communications.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field required.

Master's Degree desired.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of direct experience related to essential responsibilities.

Aerospace industry experience is desired but not required.

Experience in product health metrics is desired but not required

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, vLookup, macro generation).

Ideal candidate will have proficiency with Python, Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools.

Employment Eligibility Requirements

Must be a US Person under ITAR regulations.

Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test, including cannabis screening.

Compensation

Base salary range: $66,740 - $100,109 per year (Mid-point: $83,424).

Several factors influence the actual salary offered, including experience, skills, training, certifications, and market conditions. Typically, new hires are closer to the mid-point of the range.
