Digital Marketing Ppc Specialist
DVS is seeking an experienced, full-time Digital Marketing PPC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be personable, highly motivated, and detail-oriented. Qualified applicants will have direct PPC and SEO experience, agency experience or B2B experience, as well as a broad understanding of digital marketing principles. The Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to be an advocate and go-to expert for a wide range of digital marketing-related activities, projects, and initiatives spanning SEO (On-site, Technical, and Content), PPC, and Paid Social. This person must be comfortable meeting with and presenting big-picture planning to clients and new business prospects, as well as rolling up their sleeves to bring strategic recommendations to life. This person will be expected to provide proactive client management and focus on building deep and trusting client relationships. Most importantly, the person filling this role must be flexible in a collaborative, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Craft and manage PPC campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms as needed
- Draft detailed SEO site audits and reports through a technical, content, and off-site lens to ensure that they consistently adhere to SEO best practices
- Analyze and translate data from web analytics into actionable plans
- Weekly and monthly reporting and communication regarding campaign development, timelines, analysis, and results
- Manage digital advertising budget and spend, including bid management
- Execute bid changes based on pacing and performance
- Continuous analysis of paid campaigns to identify potential opportunities, providing recommendations for optimization through ad copy, keywords, ad groups, targeting, bidding, and landing pages
- Monitor SEO performance by utilizing SEO tools such as SEMRush, Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
- Maintain and manage search tools to identify site issues and collaborate with the team to resolve defects
- Ensure alignment between paid search and organic search strategies
- Advise on content @types, topics, and keywords to explore to maximize clients' search rankings
- Constantly monitor and communicate changes in industry trends and search engine algorithms, both internally and to clients
Specific Skills
- 3+ years of experience with PPC, SEO, and social media marketing, ideally within an agency setting
- Demonstrated success managing accounts for multiple partners or divisions
- Familiarity with Wordpress is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, Looker Studio, and SEMRush
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, client and server-side technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, META, and LinkedIn advertising platforms
- Google certifications are a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, including the capability to balance competing priorities in an agency environment
- Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
- Able to effectively operate and complete complex tasks with minimal oversight
Location This is a hybrid role, with the ideal candidate being located in the greater Grand Rapids area. However, we are willing to consider fully remote for the right candidate who can work ~8-5 EST.
Salary & Benefits $45,000 to $60,000 Generous PTO 8 paid holidays
