Director, B2B Marketing

As a part of MasterCard's US Marketing organization, the Issuer marketing team is responsible for creating market differentiation for MasterCard, developing and executing marketing programs that drive activation and usage of MasterCard with our key bank issuing partners while leveraging our brand investments.

You will be responsible for partnering with the MasterCard account teams, functional/business teams across MasterCard and the financial institution to develop and execute marketing and customer experience solutions to help grow the issuers' business. These initiatives are expected to drive incremental MasterCard revenue and assist clients with their key business priorities.

Marketing experience within financial services, agency or consulting disciplines required. Excellent track record of deploying and executing fact or insight based marketing strategies that delivered measurable business results. Strong written and verbal communication, including large group presentations as well as demonstrated project management skills. Ability to influence key decision makers to deliver MasterCard value and drive expansion of the MasterCard franchise. Strong and demonstrated project planning, management and implementation skills. Expertise in consumer brand, promotions and direct marketing with specific skills in acquisition, activation, usage and retention marketing. Knowledge of the bankcard/payments market, with particular focus on co-brand card marketing. Confidence in the digital marketing space with demonstrated ability to develop strategies that leverage digital, social media and/or mobile marketing platforms. Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
