Overview:

The Director will have primary oversight of the Design and Construction Management functions of the firm. The Director will provide guidance, set targets, and direct all execution relative to areas of design and construction.

What You Will Do:

Develop, communicate, and drive the vision, strategy, performance, and results of all aspects of design and construction. Includes direct leadership of highly qualified associates as we undergo a growth transformation to our department.

Work with leaders to develop division-wide and department-wide goals, as well as overseeing and collaborating on major projects both within the department and across the firm.

Responsible for construction estimating, capital planning, and the firm's overall design philosophy.

Identify trends and present recommendations to senior department leadership and/or across the firm in order to influence decision making.

Ability to research technical topics to determine, recommend, and implement the appropriate action to be taken.

Balance team priorities and remove any obstacles to ensure associates are focused on key activities that meet critical business needs.

Ensure appropriate internal controls are developed, implemented, documented, and followed.

Build, maintain, and leverage relationships to gather critical information and influence key decisions.

Demonstrate the ability to analyze, comprehend, and leverage complex financial and/or operational data.

Provide leadership, development, and mentoring to leaders and associates as they manage multiple projects and people concurrently.

Lead cross-functional teams responsible for implementing department and firm-wide business objectives and projects.

Hiring Minimum: $140,400

Hiring Maximum: $239,100

Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 11-14 years of related work experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This individual is responsible for the management of a broad area and needs to have a depth of knowledge of principles and practices of all major aspects of Corporate Real Estate Construction Management including a strong working knowledge of related areas such as design, transaction management, project management, lease administration, operations, technology, etc.

Occasional travel will be required.

Advanced degree or certification preferred.

15+ years of relevant experience.

Please note there is a need for this role to work onsite or hybrid out of the St. Louis HQ location. Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
