Electrical Designer

The Electrical Designer will collaborate closely with Electrical Drafters, Controls Engineers, and Management to ensure that new and existing equipment, both custom and standard, is fully functional.

Responsibilities

Detail electrical sensors for conveyors and equipment following company standards and guidance from engineers and management.

Produce wiring diagrams, panel and electrical assemblies, and arrangement drawings necessary for cable fabrication.

Assist in maintaining the project schedule by communicating effectively, prioritizing activities, and resolving issues as they arise.

Utilize technical skills to address design problems.

Complete assignments within the allocated timeframe with minimal supervision.

Identify purchased materials and generate purchase requisitions.

Essential Skills

2 years of electrical design experience with Allen-Bradley.

Experience with SolidWorks, school training acceptable.

Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, school training acceptable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate's degree in Drafting/Engineering discipline.

Willingness to learn about food processing equipment and design, training provided.

Sanitary design knowledge or experience preferred, training provided.

Work Environment

The Electrical Designer will work directly under the Electrical Engineering Manager and collaborate with three peers. The role requires 20% overnight travel, rotating with the other three peers, with trips once every other month potentially lasting up to two weeks.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
