Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience building, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention. This role requires a strong understanding of email marketing platforms, customer segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand communications that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and automated workflows using an ESP (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact).
  • Segment audiences and develop targeted campaigns to improve open rates, CTRs, and conversions.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative, and CTAs to optimize performance.
  • Ensure all emails are optimized for deliverability, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG/ADA compliance).
  • Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to create compelling copy, visuals, and calls-to-action.
  • Monitor and analyze email campaign performance; provide regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Maintain list hygiene and manage subscriber preferences, opt-ins, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulations.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing email marketing strategy, including nurture campaigns and lifecycle communications.
  • Stay updated on email marketing best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or marketing automation.
  • Proficiency with at least one major email service provider (ESP) and experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Strong understanding of email performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion rate, bounce rate).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email preferred.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
