Email Marketing Specialist

Our education client is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to help their team.

This role is remote and will be 30-40 hours per week.

They have multiple departments using Mailchimp account to send weekly emails and monthly newsletters, and they need someone who can come in and bring structure to the account. Specifically, looking for support with organizing audiences, tagging and segmenting them appropriately, and helping clean up the existing lists. They’d also benefit from someone who can provide ongoing analytics and recommendations to help improve engagement across departments.

In order to be considered Email Marketing Specialist must have:

• Mailchimp experience
• Comfortable leading strategy

Email Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Technical mastery of the platform with strategic email marketing skills to build high performing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
• Understand how to manage audiences through thoughtful segmentation, tags, and groups that create automated customer journeys that nurture subscribers at every stage
• Strong copywriting with clean, mobile responsive design using Mailchimp’s templates, dynamic content, and personalization tools
• Analyze performance through detailed reporting open rates, click throughs, heatmaps, and e commerce data to continually optimize results
• Beyond execution, ensures deliverability, maintains list health, integrates the platform with websites and CRMs, and aligns every send with broader marketing goals
