Entry Level Designer

Insight Global is looking for an entry level designer who has strong foundational skills and an interest in how Generative AI can enhance the creative process. You will contribute to brand identities, assist in the development of AI-enabled toolkits, and help produce high-quality creative assets across physical and digital channels. You will learn how to balance design excellence, brand governance, and emerging AI tools-helping our client scale world-class creativity in a modern, responsible way.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration
• Support the design and implementation of omnichannel brand systems across packaging, retail, digital, and campaign touchpoints.
• Assist in developing logos, typography systems, iconography, illustration styles, color palettes, and layout frameworks under senior guidance.
• Partner with senior designers and cross-functional teams to concept & execute creative assets.
• Contribute to AI toolkits designed to support the creative process, including prompt libraries, workflow documentation, and testing initiatives.

• Trend & Technology Exploration
• Stay informed about trends in brand design, retail, culture, and Generative AI tools.
• Evolve your skillset with emerging AI features and creative workflows.
• Explore how AI can scale creative systems while maintaining strong craft and brand integrity.

• Quality Assurance & Governance
• Follow brand guidelines and governance guardrails when creating and refining assets.
• Document prompts, workflows, and version histories for AI-generated work.
• Ensure outputs meet Walmart's standards for typography, layout, accessibility, compliance, and brand consistency.
• Maintain high attention to detail and craftsmanship in all deliverables.

• Project Contribution
• Contribute to design projects from concept through production with guidance from senior team members.
• Support pilots, workshops, and day-to-day production needs.
• Deliver organized, production-ready files on time and aligned with strategic objectives.

Skills and Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in a design role (internships and academic portfolio work included)
• Strong foundation in typography, layout, composition, color, and visual systems.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design process, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.
• Exposure to or strong interest in Generative AI tools (text and/or image-based) and iterative prompt exploration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office.
• Curiosity and openness to learning new creative technologies quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field - Motion design, After Effects, or illustration skills.
• Experience creating mock-ups or simple 3D visualizations
