Graphic Designer

We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our client's creative team for a contract opportunity, on-site in Marin County, California. This is a contract position where you will play a critical role in producing compelling designs and layouts for both print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute visually appealing layouts for feature stories, columns, and destination pieces in print media.
• Collaborate with the art director and cross-functional teams, including marketing, editorial, and events, to create cohesive design assets.
• Design engaging materials for both print and digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.
• Perform photo editing, online proofing, and create online banners.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva, to produce high-quality designs.
• Stay updated on and incorporate AI tools into the design workflow.
• Assist in creating promotional materials, including event guides, poster boards, and monthly programs.
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to tight production deadlines.
• Contribute to ad hoc creative projects that enhance the brand.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of detail-oriented experience in graphic design, with a focus on print media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Canva and a basic understanding of After Effects for animation and motion graphics.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of AI tools used in design workflows is highly desirable.
• Enthusiasm for the meetings and events industry and a collaborative work environment.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting and deliver high-quality results.
• Experience with creating brochures, banners, and other marketing materials.
