Head Of Investment Product Marketing

The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with pragmatic execution, displaying both creativity and analytical rigor. They should be adept at navigating the evolving landscape of B2B and B2C marketing while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across PRD, IMG, the OGC, and all three Divisional Marketing teams. Equally, the leader must be able to inspire their team of marketing managers, creatives and production specialists to think bigger, move faster, and deliver a higher level of quality each year.

A deep understanding of the needs, motivations, and dynamics of Institutional investors, Financial Advisors, and High Net Worth Personal Investors are critical for success in this role. Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in marketing for investment products and possess a tangible grasp of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy. The ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, actionable marketing communications tailored for advisors, consultants, benefits managers, and personal investors is critical. Prior leadership in Investment marketing is preferred.

Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a relentless work ethic will distinguish the Head of Investment Product Marketing as a leader capable of distilling and communicating Vanguard's competitive advantage. The successful candidate will work closely with investment specialists, portfolio managers, divisional marketers, sales leaders, and compliance teams to craft messaging that is both compelling and compliant with industry regulations.

Additionally, the Head of Investment Product Marketing will need to have a high level of data fluency to analyze metrics and feedback from advisors to refine and optimize initiatives, ensuring results across:

This is a high intensity leadership opportunity for a hands-on Head of Investment Product Marketing to elevate the firm's product presence and drive growth through world-class strategy, competitive mindset, and disciplined execution.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 12 years of experience in B2B marketing, including 5 years spent in product development or marketing
  • Deep understanding of emerging trends in digital communications, including the role of AI to improve the accuracy and speed of content development
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to partner with senior leaders across marketing, sales, and investment teams
  • Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools.
