We are looking for an Interior Designer who will help keep our clients at the forefront of forward-thinking design in market sectors such as K-12 and higher education, corporate workplace, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, and workforce development. Responsibilities

A Typical Day Might Include:

• INTERIOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE Working independently to address design challenges and make decisions that achieve project and client goals.
• Completing all phases of the design process including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration on small to larger projects.
• Developing interior finish materials and construction details.
• Designing and preparing interior finish presentation boards for review by clients.
• Processing shop drawings and checking to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Preparing technical specifications to suit project design requirements along with cost estimates and budgets.
• WORKING COLLABORATIVELY Working within an integrated architectural and interior design team to develop all phases of the design process and coordinate interior design with other disciplines.
• Meeting with product vendors to qualify material specifications.
• Providing frequent client contact with some travel required.

Qualifications

Qualifications You'll Need on Day One:

• A bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design.
• At least 5 years of experience as an interior designer.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience with furniture specifications.
• Previous exposure to a broad range of market sectors.

Competitive Salary: $70-80k/year depending on location, education, experience, and certifications.
