Marketing Administrator

HORIBA Group of worldwide companies provides an extensive array of instruments and systems for applications ranging from automotive R&D, process and environmental monitoring, in-vitro medical diagnostics, semiconductor manufacturing and metrology, to a broad range of scientific R&D and QC measurements. HORIBA Automotive, a business segment within the HORIBA Group, has developed global leadership in the fields of battery, fuel cell and electrolyzer test stands, data management solutions, driveline test systems, engine test systems, brake test systems, wind tunnel balances, emissions test systems and test facility automation. HORIBA is looking for a Marketing Administrator to turn complex technical ideas into compelling stories for our Mobility Field in North America. In this role, you'll craft high-quality content, support major industry events, and help strengthen both our customer-facing and internal communications. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, organized communicator who enjoys learning about advanced technologies, managing multiple projects, and driving measurable marketing impact.

Essential Functions:

  • Marketing & Technical Communications: Translate technical product and application information into clear, concise messaging for a variety of channels. Write and edit content for email campaigns, advertising, press releases, social media, case studies, product sheets, and video scripts. Manage the content calendar in collaboration with sales and product teams to ensure alignment with new product launches and key market topics. Track and evaluate performance metrics.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Lead the coordination of industry conferences, tradeshows and customer events across North America-from planning through onsite execution. Partner with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand presence.
  • Internal Communications: Support internal communication initiatives, including the monthly employee newsletter and HR-driven messaging. Collaborate with HR and department managers to ensure consistent and engaging internal content.
  • Project Management: Own timelines, follow-up, and cross-functional coordination to keep marketing projects on track. Work with subject matter experts to gather and organize technical information efficiently.

Skills and Knowledge: Requirements: BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, English, or a related field. 3 + years of hands-on experience in content creation for multiple formats. Strong ability to digest technical information and translate it into effective marketing messages. Familiarity with Salesforce, Pardot, or similar marketing automation tools. Experience coordinating events and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools (Illustrator or InDesign preferred). Use of or interest in using AI tools to enhance marketing effectiveness.
