A Day In The Life Of A Marketing And Conference Administrative Coordinator
A typical day for a Marketing and Conference Administrative Coordinator involves comprehensive coordination and administrative support for events and conferences, including managing timelines, logistics, speaker communications, and cross-functional collaboration. It requires proficiency in project management tools, financial tracking, and data organization, with responsibilities spanning systems management, vendor coordination, and documentation oversight. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and skilled in communication, with experience in handling multiple tasks across departments to ensure the smooth execution of complex projects. Strong technical abilities, especially in Excel and Microsoft Office, are essential, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Requirements
College Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required or work equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in an administrative role
Excel - Must have intermediate and above skill set
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office is required
Schedule
On-site, Monday-Friday in our Friendswood, TX. office, 8 hours a day, with some evenings and weekends as needed.
