Marketing And Patient Communications Specialist

Plays a key role in enhancing patient engagement and promoting healthcare services through strategic marketing and effective patient communications. Responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns, creating patient-facing communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. Contributes to an integrated, collaborative, data-driven Marketing and Patient Communications Team that is known for high reliability and excellence in execution. Must be an exceptional writer, enjoy executing events, and being part of a highly collaborative, innovative, and data-driven Marketing and Communications function.

Essential Functions:

  • Works collaboratively with other members of the Marketing and Patient Communications team to identify priorities, develop tactics and execute concepts aligned with strategic priorities and brand standards.
  • Continuously scans the internal and external environment, understands the system's major strategic and operating priorities and identifies relevant marketing and patient communications opportunities.
  • Coordinates, writes and produces flyers, web content, e-newsletters, articles, publications, brochures, posters, feature stories, and other patient facing content.
  • Responsible for photography and videography of system functions and other related activities.
  • Plans and coordinates meetings and special events to meet designated objectives.

  • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
  • Assists in proofreading, writing and idea development for marketing and patient communications projects.

Travel Requirements:

Estimated Amount: 15% - Periodic travel required primarily for meetings, trainings, and periodic visits to clients, project sites, or system locations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelors Degree Marketing, Business or related field. Required

Work Experience:

2 years Experience in Marketing, Business or other related field. Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent written/oral communications, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Strong computer skills and willingness to embrace new technology and artificial intelligence.

Strong writing, copyediting and project management skills.

Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools.

Strong project management and organization abilities.
