Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing and business development initiatives within the engineering industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting project managers and the marketing team through detailed coordination, research, and creative input.

Responsibilities:

Organize and update project, employee, and client data within the marketing database to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Project Managers on assignments such as editing, writing, and compiling materials for marketing proposals.

Maintain and enhance project descriptions and photo libraries to support marketing efforts and database updates.

Design graphics for proposals, brochures, and other marketing materials using tools like Photoshop or Illustrator.

Create and tailor corporate and project-specific resumes for staff members and pursuits.

Gather and compile information from subconsultants and project teams to support proposal development.

Coordinate and prepare comprehensive proposals, qualifications, and subconsultant packages, including necessary certifications and graphics.

Conduct research to support marketing efforts for public and private sector project pursuits.

Develop or refine templates for reports, proposals, and other documentation as needed.

Assist with social media content creation and communications to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements:

Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content.

Experience in preparing advertisements, brochures, and other promotional materials.

Knowledge of brand awareness strategies and implementation.

Ability to manage and organize data within marketing databases.

Familiarity with research techniques for business development purposes.

Effective communication and coordination skills to work with diverse teams.
