Marketing Associate

Robert Half's client is looking for a Marketing Associate for a 3-month contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a hybrid, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to work onsite three days per week. The Marketing Associate will support day-to-day marketing initiatives including event coordination, social media content, and marketing operations. This role is ideal for an entry-level marketer who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a B2B, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of marketing events, including logistics, scheduling, and internal communications
  • Assist with the execution of day-to-day marketing projects and task management across the marketing team
  • Create, schedule, and publish social media content to support brand awareness and engagement
  • Design simple marketing materials and social media assets using Canva
  • Provide administrative and project-based support to help streamline marketing workflows and offload tasks from senior team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to ensure clear communication and timely execution of marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, communications or related
  • 1+ year of marketing experience, including relevant internship experience
  • Experience working with marketing events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong social media management and content creation skills
  • Knowledge of Canva
  • Experience supporting marketing initiatives in professional services, manufacturing, B2B, or regulated industries is preferred
  • Strong ability to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively while contributing positively to team collaboration
  • Knowledge of CMS tools (Sitecore, WordPress, or related) a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or related) preferred
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, & strong project management skills
