Marketing Intern (May--August)

Are you creative, curious, and excited about using marketing to make a real difference? Do you want to make an impact while building your career?

PathWays is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team and help share the stories that matter.

This internship is a great opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, digital media, and storytelling while supporting programs that positively impact our community.

If you love writing, social media, photography, design, or digital marketing, this internship will give you the chance to turn those interests into real-world experience.

What You'll Do

As our Marketing Intern, you'll help bring the PathWays mission to life through creative and engaging content. You may:

  • Help create blogs, newsletters, and other marketing materials
  • Assist with content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Support website updates and learn the basics of SEO and digital visibility
  • Capture and organize photos, videos, and stories that highlight our impact
  • Help manage digital files and marketing assets
  • Assist with photography and videography for events and programs
  • Support community events, fundraisers, and outreach initiatives
  • Track social media and digital engagement metrics
  • Conduct basic research to support marketing campaigns and outreach

Who Should Apply

We're looking for a motivated student who is excited to learn and contribute.

Ideal candidates are:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Strong writers with creative ideas
  • Comfortable using social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Familiar with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office
  • Interested in digital marketing, SEO, and storytelling
  • Organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects in a team environment
