Event Marketing Manager

Develop and execute marketing campaigns for all Homespun events

Build event-specific marketing timelines

Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Draft and distribute press releases; build relationships with media outlets

Coordinate influencer partnerships and community cross-promotions

Oversee event websites (Wix platform) and ensure timely updates

Develop paid advertising strategies (Meta, Google, etc.)

Track and analyze attendance and marketing performance metrics

Develop campaigns to grow online sales and retail traffic

Oversee email marketing strategy and execution

Create promotional calendars tied to product launches and seasonal themes

Support wholesale marketing efforts, including digital lookbooks and outreach campaigns

Collaborate with Retail Operations Manager on product storytelling and launches

Maintain brand consistency across all platforms

Collaborate on graphic design direction (signage, print, digital)

Oversee photography and video content strategy

Help refine and evolve Homespun's visual and narrative identity

Develop marketing partnerships with local businesses and organizations

Identify cross-promotional opportunities with artists, musicians, and sponsors

Grow Homespun's email list and social following

Develop long-term audience growth strategies

Analyze marketing performance and adjust campaigns accordingly

Track ROI for advertising, influencer partnerships, and sponsorship activations

Provide regular marketing reports to leadership

Contribute to strategic planning for new events and initiatives

Serve as an Event Lead during event hours, helping oversee smooth event operations alongside other managers

Collaborate with other managers on event setup, vendor load-in, and event tear down

Assist in supervising event staff and volunteers during event hours

Support real-time troubleshooting and decision-making during events

Help ensure a positive, welcoming, and professional tone is maintained on-site

Attend and actively participate in weekly event planning meetings

Participate in regular one-on-one meetings with supervisor(s) to review goals, timelines, and performance

Minimum Education Required High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience Required 3+ years of marketing experience (events or artistic brands preferred)

Strong writing skills and brand voice development

Experience managing social media and email marketing platforms

Experience with graphic design and video editing

Familiarity with Wix, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools

Experience running paid social campaigns preferred

Highly organized and deadline-driven

Creative thinker who can also execute

Familiarity with the Twin Cities arts community is a plus

Job Benefits Paid Time Off: 5 weeks/year (total of 100 hours)

Other Benefits: Flexible hours, a collaborative and creative team, monthly health insurance stipend, generally flexible hours (besides event weeks which occur 7-10 weeks per year), option to work mostly from home
