Our Mortenson Properties team is seeking an experienced marketing leader to play an important role in the growth of our business. This role requires strong executive communication skills, a passion for writing and storytelling, and excitement for building something new. This individual will collaborate with group leadership, construction businesses, and centralized marketing resources to create compelling materials, develop celebratory stories, and deliver impactful marketing content that helps us win clients and promote our brand within multiple markets across the country. As a one person marketing department, you will enjoy a wide range of responsibilities and a trusting relationship with leaders. A collaborative approach will be necessary to partner with business leaders as you establish content calendars, set goals and deadlines, and ensure you meet established targets. Beyond managing competing priorities, you will produce a variety of stories, posts, emails, and presentations that attract and retain clients. Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies, Marketing, Business or a related field
Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, B2B writing, content marketing or sales enablement, ideally in a B2B services industry
Experience in real estate investment, property management, and tenant attraction strategies preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in writing content for business-to-business audiences; competency in identifying and developing key messaging and quantifying value to our customers
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a good understanding of graphic layout and visual hierarchy
Strong ability to create PowerPoint messages and visuals; sharp visual organization of information to quickly convey core messages
Agility to serve on a fast-paced team; adept at organizing, tracking and delivering multiple assignments at once
Enjoy researching and learning new industries and service offerings, with the ability to identify key drivers and pain points shaping the customer's mindset; develop cohesive narratives around solutions and case studies
Experience with best practices in writing for digital mediums and working with digital asset management toolsand brand standards
