Marketing Operations Editor

Our well-known pharma client is seeking a Marketing Operations Editor to join their team for the next 2 years, 40 hours/week. This role is fully remote, but open to hybrid candidates in Mettawa, IL if desired.

Role Summary: The Marketing Operations Editor is responsible for managing the review and approval process for promotional, non-promotional, and internal materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role supports FDA Ad Promo submissions and oversees the electronic approval system, including user access, training, and workflow optimization.

Top Must Have Skills:

Document Quality Check expertise Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in prescription drug advertising/promotional labeling and/or submissions

Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or science-related discipline or equivalent work experience Preferred: 3+ years in Regulatory, Quality, or a related area Familiarity with Veeva Promomats and FDA Form 2253 submission processes

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate review and approval processes for promotional and non-promotional materials
  • Perform quality checks and route materials per SOP guidelines
  • Facilitate PRC meetings and document outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing operations on prioritization during campaigns and label updates
  • Conduct regulatory reviews and manage reapprovals
  • Develop and deliver training on review processes and Veeva functionality
  • Manage user profiles and access in Veeva Promomats
  • Liaise with Veeva vendor for system maintenance and optimization
  • Generate metrics reports for compliance and process improvement
  • Archive OPDP correspondence and prepare submission materials
  • Contribute to departmental work instructions and support process improvement initiatives
