Our client, a Medical Center company, is looking for a Marketing Project Manager for their Boston, MA/ Remote location. The Temp Project Manager supports the Marketing and Communications team at client. The ideal candidate is a team player who has demonstrable experience in strategic project management within a marketing department. The Project Manager is both an engagement and delivery lead, client facing, and instrumental in providing instructions to internal teams as well as client teams who will be responsible for multiple deliverables.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Project Manager, the Project Manager will support and lead special projects, event marketing and campaigns. The Project Manager will engage with a variety of clients to gather information and understand the overall direction of project requests ranging from inbound requests to strategic hospital and system initiatives. This role will require working across other teams including the Community engagement and the Development team, collaborating closely with event managers supporting large scale events or conferences. While proactively working to move the project team and client team members toward completion of project deliverables, this position will support the teams in various administrative activities by building project schedules, cost estimates, forecasting hours for projects, coordinating with different teams to ensure deadlines are met, approvals are gathered, and enforce process.
Project Management
Manage project development from inception through completion, effectively leading and motivating internal team to produce best in class work
Coordinate and manage client meetings; responsible for daily project communication with key client contacts
Monitor and track project issues/risks and the impacts to project delivery and help develop solutions to ensure on time, on strategy, accurate project execution
Support department leadership with wide ranging special projects like campaigns, inbound requests, etc
Event Project Management
Organize, direct and manage the marketing support and execution for 1-2 signature hospital events
Coordinate and manage client meetings; responsible for daily project communication with key contacts
Effectively lead and motivate internal team to produce best in class work to support promotion of the events
Monitor and track event issues/risks and the impacts to marketing strategy and help develop solutions
Process Improvement and Implementation
Partner with the Senior Marketing Project Manager and other colleagues to implement and maintain processes and workflows to ensure the successful execution of marketing programs across the department
Effectively utilize data and analytics to report out and identify key themes and learnings that can improve projects, campaigns and department processes
Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Communication, Marketing (or related field) is required
None required, Project Management Certificate preferred
6-8 years of relevant marketing and communications project management experience is required.
Healthcare and/or agency experience preferred
Proven track record in marketing project management with mastery of PM tools (i.e. airtable, asana)
Experience organizing and managing events
Strong collaboration and organization skills
Strong communicator (written + verbal)
Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management including establishing and management of processes
Effective multi-tasking skills with proven ability to support multiple projects for multiple stakeholders while effectively managing conflicting priorities
Highly motivated and self-starter
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with ambiguity, with the ability to be flexible, agile, and quick to adapt
Focused on results and detail oriented
