Individual contributor role that is responsible for providing expertise in support of marketing content for financial advisor use in local marketing. Marketing Specialists leverage data and analytics to make operational decisions, recommendations and to continuously improve marketing results. This position participates as a team member on work streams, projects and initiatives that engage cross-organizational team members.
Preferred location for this position is in Minneapolis, MN or Appleton, WI.
Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders to deliver new and effective content for local marketing.
Manage and deliver requests from field and internal stakeholders for new or updated local marketing content.
Manage and maintain portfolio local marketing content per regulatory requirements as needed.
Work with multi-cultural team to deliver Spanish language resources for local marketing (fluency in Spanish not required).
Provide support for deploying content on channels to ensure optimal user experience.
Leverages market data and analytics to monitor success of marketing programs/initiatives and to continuously improve upon marketing results. Gathers field, member and stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment and to optimize effectiveness. Continues to build marketing intelligence through external and internal data sources.
Responsible for delivering on tactics that support productivity and new member growth and positioning of brand to select market segments through multiple communication channels.
May produce content on social networking websites, interactive marketing related media.
Develop trusted relationships with key internal/external stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to branding and distribution of member offers that attract target segments, drive membership growth and increase member loyalty.
3-5 years marketing or related experience.
College degree in marketing or related field.
Experience with marketing content creation and/or project/program management.
Knowledge of financial services industry, fraternal benefit societies, or membership organizations a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates strong project management and collaboration skills.
Applies a development mindset that uses creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective and more efficient marketing approaches.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $69,053.00 - $93,425.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
