The Marketing Strategist is a part of the University Marketing Communications department, and is a crucial member of the Account Services team. The University Marketing Communications department is responsible for raising the profile of the University of Minnesota and promoting University initiatives, education, research and community engagement. The Account Services team facilitates projects and provides strategic direction in collaboration with partners across the University to advance and promote University initiatives. The Marketing Strategist will play an essential role in supporting and advancing the reputation of the University of Minnesota as a strategic marketing project lead, collaborating with clients and teams to plan, execute, and measure marketing initiatives. The role combines project management with marketing expertise to ensure alignment with brand standards and University priorities. Required: BA/BS degree Six years of professional marketing/digital communications experience, including coordinating multidimensional marketing communications projects Occasional in-office work expected, including for semi-annual team meetings Outstanding project management skills and decision making
