We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally rigorous Marketing Technology Associate to serve as the structural backbone of our in-house media team. This role is a hybrid of data architecture, platform governance, and technical project management - 50% Program Management, 50% Reporting/QA. You will act as the connective tissue of our department, managing the logistics of campaign launches, finance operations, and performance reporting.
Manage the logistics of the media buying team. This includes tracking the status of campaign launches and timelines with program management tools, managing the budgets and pacing, partnering with finance ops for invoice management and ensuring all global teams are adhering to the established Media Playbook.
Standardize and manage the delivery of global performance reports & presentations.
Maintain a centralized library of our technical setup, including taxonomy guides, pixel maps, and governance protocols to ensure seamless onboarding and continuity.
Establish and enforce a global QA framework for all campaign launches. You will be responsible for auditing tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and naming conventions to ensure 100% data accuracy before any media goes live.
Monitor and enforce global brand safety standards and data privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA/ATT), ensuring all operational workflows meet legal and corporate governance requirements.
Basic Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Media Operations, Ad Ops, or Marketing Analytics. You must be deeply comfortable with data validation and cleansing.
Preferred Requirements
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas, macros, and data modeling) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio, or Power BI).
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects on a global scale using tools like Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
Familiarity with the backend "Admin" and "Reporting" modules of major ad platforms (Google Ads, DV360, Meta Business Suite).
Experience managing 8- to 9-figure annual budgets across multiple platforms and geographies.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and stay within deadlines.
Strong analytical skills (Excel, SQL a plus) with multivariate testing experience.
Understanding of ad-tech, including integration, tracking, both pixel and mobile app, brand safety and taxonomy.
Ability to adapt to quick changes within both the company and industry
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$108,000 per year - USD$120,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other @types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
