We are seeking a detail-oriented NX Designer and Drafter for Manufacturing to support engineering and production teams by developing and maintaining 3D models, 2D drawings, process documentation, and manufacturing deliverables. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate product definition, efficient process planning, and seamless integration between design and manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and manufacturing process documentation within a regulated or high-precision environment.
Create, revise, and release 3D models and 2D drawings in Siemens NX, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards.
Manage product information in Teamcenter, including updates to drawings, bills of materials, and engineering changes.
Develop and maintain process plans and manufacturing documentation to support production activities.
Support manufacturing engineering by creating and updating production routings to reflect current processes and improvements.
Generate exploded views, illustration sheets, and assembly visuals for use in shop floor work instructions and technical documents.
Review and apply dimensional tolerance information to ensure parts and assemblies fit and function properly.
Use Net Inspect to document inspections, nonconformances, and certification records.
Update material, routing, and production data within SAP.
Support digital manufacturing tools and systems used for process planning and work instructions.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve drawing, modeling, and documentation issues.
2 or more years of hands-on experience with Siemens NX modeling/drafting and TEAMCENTER.
Experience supporting manufacturing processes, process planning, and routing development.
Solid understanding of GD&T, engineering change processes, and industry drafting standards.
Experience creating assembly graphics, technical illustrations, and production documentation.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship required.
Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Background supporting assembly line operations or shop floor engineering teams.
Familiarity with digital thread, PLM, or end-to-end manufacturing data environments.
Proficiency with SAP, Net Inspect, and manufacturing documentation systems.
