Creative Operations Manager

At Intuit we believe everyone has the right to prosper, which is why our mission is Powering Prosperity Around the World. Being a mission-driven company includes living our values every day. That means integrity is at the foundation of everything we do, including the products we design, the role we play in the communities we are a part of, and the way we treat every person that is a part of the Intuit family. Our products, including TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks and Mailchimp, help solve our customers' most important problems to help them make more money, save time, and make financial decisions with confidence.

We're searching for an experienced Creative Operations Manager to partner closely with the Storytelling and Motion Design team, a group of passionate creatives dedicated to championing Intuit's employees and customers through compelling stories and experiences. You can bring all the critical pieces together when it comes to storytelling through videos and motion-strategy, narratives, audience, process, production-to produce transformative and engaging experiences.

The role is at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to delivery in a dynamic environment while maintaining high creative standards. You'll partner closely with designers, video producers, creative leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and executives, driving and streamlining workflows, managing resources, and bringing compelling visual stories to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, navigating organizational boundaries, and comfort with an iterative creative process that doesn't rely on polished creative briefs and linear asset development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end workflows across video production and motion design projects
  • Build and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resourcing plans
  • Ensure smooth handoffs across concept, production, post-production, and delivery
  • Drive process and efficiency
  • Develop and optimize creative workflows, tools, and systems
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
  • Standardize processes for project plans, reviews, approvals, and asset management
  • Allocate work across internal teams and external vendors/freelancers
  • Forecast team capacity and anticipate production needs
  • Help prioritize projects based on impact and urgency
  • Partner with marketing, brand, product, and external agencies to align on goals and timelines
  • Translate business needs into actionable creative plans
  • Facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and creative teams
  • Assist in planning shoots, post-production schedules, and motion design pipelines
  • Ensure deliverables meet brand, technical, and platform requirements
  • Maintain quality control across all outputs
  • Oversee file organization for video and motion assets
  • Recommend and implement tools for project management and collaboration

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in creative operations, production management, or project management within a video/motion/creative environment
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows (pre, shoot, post) and motion design pipelines
  • Experience working with creative teams (editors, animators, producers, designers)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Deep organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with production and project management tools
  • Background in video production, editing, or motion design
  • Experience managing external production vendors or agencies
  • Familiarity with budgeting and contract management
  • Passion for storytelling, brand, and visual craft
