Manufacturing Product Engineer
The Manufacturing Product Engineer will be responsible for Level 10 (L10) manufacturing processes and test of high-performance servers, focusing on both CPU and GPU configurations. This role ensures manufacturing readiness, test process optimization, and product quality throughout the server build lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams in Design, Operations, Quality, and Supplier Management.
Rack level Bill Of Materials, assembly and test process knowledge is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support L10 manufacturing activities, including integration and test of rack-level CPU/GPU servers
- Develop and implement assembly and test procedures for L10 manufacturing, ensuring compliance with quality, reliability, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Design, NPI, and Manufacturing teams to review product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT)
- Identify and resolve issues encountered during server build and test phases, performing root cause analyses as needed
- Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing and test yields, throughput, and process efficiency
- Oversee test fixture design, deployment, and maintenance for rack-level server validation
- Assist in developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, test logs, and failure reports
- Serve as the technical interface for external manufacturing partners and internal engineering teams
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and provide regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders
- Support implementation of ECR/ECOs (Engineering Change Requests/Orders) during the manufacturing process
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in server/system hardware manufacturing and test (CPU and/or GPU server platforms)
- Strong understanding of server hardware architecture, assembly, and validation (rack-level integration experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing test methodologies, tools, and automated test equipment
- Proficient in root cause failure analysis and corrective actions in a high-mix, high-volume environment
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills
- Ability to travel to manufacturing sites or suppliers as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with L10/L11 data center/hyperscale infrastructure manufacturing
- Knowledge of industry server standards (e.g., Open Compute Project, ATCA, etc.)
- Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Agile) and manufacturing quality systems (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for process automation

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
