Leverage Reports And Analytical Insights

Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity: Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Apply customer and competitor insights to create business plans, explore new business opportunities, and facilitate product launch. Research market conditions and gather information to determine sales of Microsoft's products or services. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. Analyze consumer needs, synthesize competitive information, identify growth opportunities, and create marketing campaigns. Evaluate market potential and return on investment (ROI) of key programs to help drives sales or determine areas of potential investment or divestment. Develop an understanding of Microsoft's product portfolio to analyze strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities. May support and review product roadmap, go-to-market, integration, and related plans to ensure effective marketing campaigns. May leverage data driven insights to augment the adoption and integration of processes and tools by stakeholders across an area or subsidiary. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience: 24 months of experience in software related product marketing, program management, and developing market strategy.

Specific Skills: Education or experience in Developing product messaging and positioning; Planning and implementing go-to-market strategy; Analyzing and optimizing marketing campaigns; Managing cross-company projects; and Contributing to budget process and presenting accurate revenue analysis.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position, in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $165,000.00 to $195,000.00 per year. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
