Product Specialist

Transport Dynamics, a division of RBC Bearings, Inc., located in Santa Ana, CA, is the leading manufacturer of self-lubricated bearings for space, aerospace, and industrial applications, is currently looking for a Product Specialist to join our team!

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supporting and developing the market intelligence function with market research for our products.
• Gathering and interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings. Looking for trends and patterns in data fields; testing hypothesis based on data sets.
• Utilizing qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining key program overviews to include program potential, target applications, build rates, timelines, and regularly scheduled program reviews.
• Work with Business Management group and support with commercial and technical proposals.
• Leading customer audits and working closely to ensure all necessary departments are involved, prepared, and able to support customer requests.
• Assisting in the development of marketing literature.
• Tracking of divisional programs and objectives.
• Coordinating process and procedure improvement / implementation.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• No experience required. Previous experience in Market Research preferred.

• Results-driven and willing to exceed goals and objectives.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to apply basic concepts of math and analyze results.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Physical & Environmental Factors:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud. Also, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders] or have refugee or asylee status.

Pay Range: $70,500 - $72,000/year
