We're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Designer with hands-on experience in multi-axis, linear actuation, and motion system design. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation and precision engineering, who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and has a strong background in Siemens NX CAD software.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize complex mechanical systems focused on multi-axis, linear actuation, and precision motion platforms.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and fully dimensioned drawings using Siemens NX.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, controls, and manufacturing to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Participate in design reviews, and implement feedback to enhance product performance and reliability.
Solve engineering challenges related to load capacities, tolerance stack-ups, and kinematic motion paths.
Produce and maintain detailed documentation for product lifecycle management (PLM).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, specifically with multi-axis, linear actuation, and motion system components.
Expert-level proficiency in Siemens NX (required).
Demonstrated ability to develop robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.
Experience with materials selection, FEA, and GD&T.
Strong analytical thinking, technical communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to automation, robotics, or factory equipment design.
Experience with integration of sensors, drive systems, and controls.
Familiarity with product data management (PDM) software.
